Buckthorn (invasives removal)

St. Louis Park buckthorn management

The lake front opened for view after clearing buckthorn at the FOBL kiosk. The buckthorn is cut, baled, and moved to loading areas for the city to remove with a skid loader and dump truck. Tons and tons.

The bale cart is pictured on the trail above for transporting the bales of buckthorn to the landing area. Two intrepid "Friends" woodspeople!
